'High Class' Colleagues

tomorrow dinner at TGI FRIDAY. no thanks.....its way too expensive (overprice dishes!) for me. i do hv money but i rather save it inside my acct for my future house.

sometimes they are really annoying...who else we want to hangout with. but not karaoke every weekend and hvg lunch at expensive restaurant everyday. anyhow i'm lil-a-bit worried about his/her expenses. i know they dont have side income. lets do the rough calculation

1. car - rm650

2. fuel - rm300

3. rental - rm200

4. shopping every weekend - rm100x4 (maybe more)

5. meal - rm30x30

6. hair treatment - rm150

7. makeup - rm50

8. cigarette - rm10x15  

9. entertainment - rm50x4 

rm3000!!!

wuoh.......only left 100-200 per month. so in 1 year they only hv rm2400(not include bonuses n kwsp) as saving??!

atleast i set my target to save 500/m. if less i feel like i'm in a financial crisis n trying hard to save every cent i hv in my purse.  

 

   

one dream not yet come true - gold

as a fresh grad i know i cant effort both! so need to choose only one investment at one time.

i manage to open saving account at public bank but not yet signup for gold investment account because when my turn up, the clock already shows 4.15pm. the gold counter close at 4pm. what a day...i waited for 2hr plus then go back home with nothing. i just wanted to open gold investment not sign up to another saving account. furthermore the price was RM130/gram. compare to current price RM141+/gram!!! i missed my chance twice.

the 1st time i thought can signup on weekend. so i withdrawal 3k den just found out the gold market close on weekend.  funny right?!  but never mind i learnt my lesson. if i can still remember the price was RM125/gram

so 3rd time i missed my precious moment to earn alot of profit because of 'act-to-know-everything' officer at bank counter. he/she said the price can go down after chinese new year.. but before i decide to buy of cause i do some research 1st. the officer's statement is completely contradict with what i read on the financial/gold expert. hurm at that time silly me trusted on him. the price was RM134/gram.

so moral of the story dont trust any officer who just sitting infront of monitor doing office work. maybe he was telling the truth but the time frame between when he heard about 'going-down' price and at the time he blurt me that statement any possibility can happen. he didn't know the price market was(/is) hiking up unless he open up the gold chart every hour/mins like i'm doing right now.

#1 Interior Design - My ROOM

my 1st experiment is my not-soo-big-room. i just started working (last year 2010) so i chose to rent the smallest room in the apartment. 1st thing i bought for my room is the MIRROR (RM 26)... it is girl's best friend right. ^_^

after suffering back pain (i hv slept on the floor with my only comforter) i drive to careffour and bought a single bed cost me RM198. thats it! just enough to start a living. 

then a few months later i started to feel uncomfortable with limited space in my room.so i rearrange my 'furniture' quite several time.

i wanted to bring back some work to study so i should buy a table and a REAL wardrobe to keep my clothes neat and tidy. during leisure time at home i look trough an IKEA catalogue then i found some nice wardrobe and table. but those things are too expensive means that it's over my budget..!

after 10 months patiently earn some extra cash, i already achieved my dream to makeover my room within a budget. yeaah~ last week i bought a study table from ikea n wardrobe from careffour. price for this 2 items is RM 169.80 + RM138.00

see the right picture...i change my bedsheets to blue color to make this room looks bigger. study table and wardrobe are same color, dark-brown, for tidiness feeling. 

therefore total money i spent is RM 531.80! wow.. i thought i hv to spend more then that..

luckily i found my wardrobe with Chinese new year promotion. so i get a real bargain for it. 

actually i'm considering ikea's wardrobe which is RM 600++...  i save my precious 400 bucks with my new wardrobe. 

so next experiment is MY HOUSE!
